Level 2 NVQ Steelfixing Occupations (Construction)

The Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Steelfixing Occupations (Construction) at SCQF level 5 allows candidates to demonstrate competence in job-related skills in their area of work and expertise.

This qualification covers areas such as general workplace health, safety and welfare; productive work practices; and cutting and bending reinforcement steel to shape.

This qualification has been designed by the ConstructionSkills Sector Skills Council to ensure relevance to the sector.

SVQs are based on National Occupational Standards.
