     First Aid at Work Training

    Overview: One of your core emergency preparation activities involves making provision for first aid. It is essential to be able to offer a basic level of first aid for both your colleagues and customers. This 3 day initial course is certified, approved and recognised by the HSE.

     

    Who should attend: Those who are designated First Aiders for their companies. A 2-day refresher course is also available for those seeking to renew existing certification.

    Accident Investigation Training

    Overview: Managing fire safety issues is an essential part of virtually all business nowadays, so this ½ or 1 day programme is one of those core items on your list of regular training needs.     The Health and Safety Executive are continuing to apply pressure to ensure that adequate and proper information on Hand Arm Vibration Levels is available for users, and this includes training.  One day course.

    Who is the course for?

    Delegates will achieve a good working knowledge and an understanding of problems related to the control of Legionella in water systems based on the requirements of relevant legislation including the approved code of practice (L8 ACOP). This course will also identify health risks and the methods used to identify and control Legionella in hot and cold water systems.

    Food Hygiene Training

     

    Overview: The Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2006 (and Regulation EC No 852/2004 on hygiene of foodstuffs) require a food operator to make sure that any staff who handle food are supervised and instructed and/or trained in food hygiene in a way that is appropriate for the work they do.


    Who should attend: Those food handlers who prepare open, high-risk foods should have formal training


    The course aim: To provide food hygiene knowledge to all food handlers
